TheHouseWeb.net is a collection of sites owned by Designer Doors, Inc. Our company is grouped around four main groupings of web sites. This niches are constantly expanding as we find new ways to provide products to our customers.
The first group is our Door Group, which consists of interior doors manufactured at our own plant, exterior doors, both manufactured by us, and by other companies, and our accordion doors, manufactured by Woodfold. This was our original business, which originally sold direct, and then to retail and builder customers in our local area, and then expanding to lumber yards. As independent lumber yards started going out of business, we started moving these sales online, and within 2 years, and within two years, we went a from a regional door supplier to national, and international sales. As more lower priced , lower quality doors started moving into the United States, we moved our manufacturing into the higher end custom products that we have today.
The second main group of products is from our Online Store Group, which currently consists of 17 online stores, with more soon being developed. These stores cover everything from our own manufactured interior thresholds, and butcher blocks, through our distributorship of pocket, closet, and wall mounted track, and hardware, which has grown tremendously the last 10 years. We have developed small product niches slowly, and expanded them as we found new uses, and new demand for different products. Look for some exciting new developments in the near future.
The third main group is our D.I.Y. Information Group This group consists of sites such as our
ContractorReferralNetwork , our HomeOwnersLibrary, and and a large number of informational blogs, on door and hardware subjects. These are in the process of being expanded into new areas.
The newest group is our Domain Products Group. Because of the huge amount of domain names that we own and the constant need for web site development, and our own needs, we have developed capabilities that we can resell to other companies. We have our own fiber line coming in, our own servers, and IT staff. We have developed our own web development, and marketing knowledge, and are now ready to sell these services to other companies. We have our own Godaddy reseller business, Bargain Domain Products, a site selling selling high quality resale domains, Domain Name Specialties, and our WebHostingMarketing.com site, which is currently being completely reworked.
